An article posted on the website said that the DPRK is known well in the international community as a country strong in independence, adding: It is the DPRK which has consistently maintained the principle of independence in politics, self-support in economy and self-reliance in national defence.

The DPRK has won one victory after another, demonstrating its dignity and might by dint of independent politics, self-supporting economy and self-reliant national defence, the article said, referring in detail to the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un is standing at the helm of the DPRK, it noted, stressing: The DPRK will throw its eternal rays as a country strong in independence.

In an article titled "More than six decades of development of science and technology in the DPRK," the website said that Kim Il Sung worked heart and soul to develop the country's science and technology after its liberation.

The DPRK's science and technology which had steadily developed under the leadership of Kim Il Sung greeted a new great heyday in their development thanks to Kim Jong Il, it said, and went on:

Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's idea of attaching importance to science and technology is being successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Un.

The DPRK will make eye-opening achievements in the fields of science and technology along with the industrial revolution in the new century sweeping across the country.
