Minju Joson Sunday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This is an adventurous war racket throwing a wet blanket over the aspiration of fellow countrymen for peace and reunification and pushing the situation to an extreme phase.

It is nothing but a poor excuse that the puppet warmongers described the drill as one for building a mutual cooperation system to cope with the "enemy's provocation", the commentary notes, and goes on:

It is none other than the south Korean warmongers who commit provocations on the Korean Peninsula.

The commentary cites facts to prove that they staged war maneuvers against the DPRK this year. It says:

The tension on the peninsula is mounting due to their ceaseless war maneuvers against the DPRK this year.

What should not be overlooked is that the drill is the first joint one staged by the south Korean puppet army and the U.S. forces in winter.

This fully revealed the true colors of the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors hell-bent on the moves to ignite a war against the north in league with foreign forces with its office drawing to a close.

The group is working hard to divert elsewhere the people's criticism of it through those war moves.

But such moves will only precipitate its self-destruction. Provocateurs are bound to meet a miserable end.
