It was made public by the People's Socialist Party, Socialist Popular Party, Socialist Party, Mexican National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea, Mexican Friend Association for Memory of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, Mexican Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification and the Mexico-Korea Friendship Association.

The political parties and organizations expressed firm conviction that the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people would vigorously advance along the road of independence, Songun and socialism, holding aloft the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and build Juche Korea into the best thriving socialist nation and the most powerful country in the world.

The statement said:

We extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people in the just struggle for removing the confrontation between the north and south, implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and solving the issue of national reunification by concerted efforts of the Koreans in an independent manner this year, firmly convinced that the whole Korean nation would open up a new phase for Korea's reunification through a united nation-wide patriotic struggle for reunification.

We extend firm support and sympathy to the independent foreign policy of the WPK and the DPRK for defending regional peace and stability and realizing global independence on the basis of developing the friendly and cooperative relations with other countries in the world which respect the DPRK's sovereignty and are friendly to it in the idea of independence, peace and friendship.

We call on progressive political parties, governments and organizations of all countries to fully support the WPK and the Korean people in their struggle for building a reunified thriving socialist nation on the Korean Peninsula through concerted efforts of the nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
