Probe into Truth about Tragedy in Ryongsan Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- Bereaved families of evacuees in Ryongsan, south Korea who rose up in the action for vital rights and citizens staged a protest in Seoul on Jan. 19, almost four years since the evacuees were ruthlessly killed by the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors.

The participants honored the memory of the victims in Ryongsan.

They strongly denounced the Lee group for driving Ryongsan residents into street under the pretext of redevelopment and indiscriminately suppressing those protesting against it, killing five persons.

Then they staged a demonstration. This was joined in by many citizens, their number doubling.

The demonstrators held a rally at the plaza of Seoul Railway Station.

At the rally speakers condemned the present authorities for not probing the truth about the murder of Ryongsan evacuees though the end of their office is drawing to a close.

They urged the authorities to probe the truth about the case at an early date.
