They underscored the need to dynamically conduct ideological education to firmly defend and glorify the sacred revolutionary careers and immortal feats of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu.

They vowed to work hard to bring about a surge in the efforts to build an economic giant and improve people's standard of living under the slogan "Let us bring about a radical turn in the building of an economic giant with the same spirit and mettle as were displayed in conquering space!"

They pledged themselves to display patriotic enthusiasm and devotion in the drive for achieving prosperity of socialist Korea, cherishing deep in mind Kim Jong Il's patriotism, and thus make a tangible contribution to glorifying this significant year as a year of creations and changes.
