Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- Russian and Belarusian figures made public statements on Jan. 15 and 17 in support of the proposal for Korea's reunification set forth by the dear respected Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address. Dmitri Kostenko, chairman of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that Kim Jong Un called for removing the confrontation between the north and the south and fully implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration. He went on: Proceeding from the principle of Juche, Kim Jong Un stressed the need to solve the reunification issue by concerted efforts of the Korean nation in an independent manner. To this end, the entire nation should never tolerate any acts hindering the country's reunification, Kim Jong Un added. To fully implement the proposal set forth by him in his New Year Address helps stabilize the regional situation and provides the DPRK with a guarantee for making successful progress while sticking to the revolutionary line. Oleg Novikov, chairman of the Belarus February 16 Association of Youth for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics, referred to the proposal for Korea's reunification put forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un. He went on: The proposal is based on the three charters for national reunification provided by President Kim Il Sung and formulated by leader Kim Jong Il. Kim Jong Un put forward the only realistic proposal to defuse the constant danger of a war prevailing on the Korean Peninsula due to the enemies' adventurous moves for aggression against the DPRK. We call upon the world people to strongly pressurize the U.S. and south Korea hell-bent on the moves for a war to accept the proposal for Korea's reunification put forward by him. |
