There occur ceaseless incidents in some regions in the new year, too, in which peace and security are gravely threatened.

The imperialist forces are openly interfering in the internal affairs of other sovereign countries and perpetrating military invasion of those countries in blatant violation of the UN Charter and other international law and convention.

The "war on terrorism", "respect for human rights", "promotion of democracy", etc. touted by the imperialists are nothing but artifices for justifying their meddling in other countries and military invasion of them.

The "color revolution" orchestrated by the imperialists is disturbing social stability in different countries and sparking off ceaseless bloody conflicts among various tribes and religious sets.

The Asia-Pacific region including Korea has turned into the world's biggest hotspots due to the moves of the imperialists.

The U.S. is busy beefing up its armed forces, regarding this region as a pivot of its military strategy with noisy trumpeting about the "return to Asia" and "focus on the Asia-Pacific region".

At the same time, the U.S. is driving the situation in the region into a complicated and dangerous phase by sowing the seeds of division and alienation in a crafty manner.

It is escalating the contradictions and standoff between countries in the region over the territorial issues.

It is steadily increasing the scale and frequency of joint military maneuvers with the south Korean puppet forces, while consistently supplementing and rounding off the war scenarios against the DPRK such as OPLAN 5027 and OPLAN 5029.

It is the intention of the U.S. to knock into shape a triangular military alliance involving the U.S., Japan and south Korea at an early date to form NATO of Asian version and use it as a lever for carrying out its strategy for a war against the DPRK and dominating the Asia-Pacific region.

The imperialists are the chieftain of aggression and war and vicious enemy of peace. It is due to the imperialists that the human cause of independence and peace are facing difficulties and trial.
