Tele-education System Applied in Factory Colleges in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- Factory colleges in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea have applied tele-education system in lecturing their students. Among the frontrunners in introducing the system is the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill. In this regard, KCNA met Kang Chang Son, a teacher of the mill college. Kang said: "An increased number of college students at the mill take lectures given by teachers of Kim Chaek University of Technology through the tele-education system. The system makes it possible for the students to acquire latest science and technology and get lectures on any subject any time. The system was applied to all workshops of the mill." O Yong Dok, a work-team leader of the mill, said: "The system greatly helps bring technological innovations at the mill. Many of the inventions materialized at the mill last year were made by the mill college graduates or students." |
