Kim Jong Un's New Year Address serves as important guidelines helping the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people vigorously advance along the road of independence, Songun and socialism, upholding the banner of great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, he noted

He hoped that the Korean people will glorify the undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and achieve successes in the efforts for building a thriving socialist nation and reunifying the country in hearty response to the important tasks set forth by Kim Jong Un.

He expressed belief that the Korean people will work fresh miracles and make innovations in the efforts for building an economic power and improving the people's living standard and turn the DPRK into a thriving socialist country, holding aloft the slogan "Let us bring about a radical turn in the building of an economic giant with the same spirit and mettle as were displayed in conquering space!"

He extended full support and solidarity to the just cause of the WPK and the Korean people, convinced that the entire Korean nation will remove confrontation between the north and the south and achieve peaceful reunification of the country without fail through a nationwide patriotic struggle for reunification in the idea of the June 15 joint declaration.

He sent highest regards to Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the New Year 2013.

He sincerely wished the DPRK, homeland of Juche, prosperity.
