S. Korean Regime Slammed for Escalating Confrontation with DPRK

Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and the forces following it have endorsed the "resolution" of the UN Security Council on expanding sanctions against the DPRK on Jan. 22. They called the DPRK's satellite launch for peaceful purposes the "launch of a long-range missile". The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors of south Korea worked very hard for the adoption of the resolution, a wanton violation of the inviolable sovereignty of the DPRK. The south Korean group of traitors had been engaged in anti-DPRK actions even before the launch of the satellite in December last year. When the DPRK's satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 was put into its orbit, the south Korean regime went busy, holding an "emergency security meeting" and operating a "package measure study office". It increased the number of posts of the puppet army along the forefront areas and tightened watch, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of wartime. It has worked hard to stifle the DPRK, making such rhetoric as a "violation of resolution", a "provocation" against the international community and an "outright challenge". It met bosses of U.S. control machinery in south Korea, officials of U.S. State Department and Japanese masters one after another to ask for a stronger measure at the UN Security Council level. It even referred the issue to other countries and implored them to join in the "sanctions" for isolating the north. When last year passed without seeing this issue settled, the puppet forces, much upset, did mischief, crying out for the earlier passage of the "resolution on sanctions". The Lee regime can never flee from the retaliatory blows of the nation though it moves desperately to escalate confrontation with the DPRK and check its just cause. |
