Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Commemorated in Nigeria

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A Nigerian national preparatory committee to commemorate the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Abuja on Jan. 21. Ibrahim Mantu, member of the Credit Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria and chairman of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events, including meeting, roundtable talks and film show, on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
