The WPK is the glorious party that demonstrates its dignity as invincible guiding forces as it has been led by the great leaders, says the editorial. It goes on:

President Kim Il Sung carved out an original way for party founding by calling for organizing grassroots level organizations first and then expanding and strengthening them. He, at the same time, made great efforts to consolidate the party cells in the whole course of leading the revolution.

Leader Kim Jong Il successfully embodied the Juche-oriented idea and feats of party building of the President and developed the party into a powerful vanguard of the revolution that boasts of a great number of party cells with strong sense of organization and discipline.

The Korean revolution has now entered a high stage of comprehensively building a thriving socialist nation under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Today the party faces the important tasks to beef up the political and military might of the country, open a turning phase of building an economic giant and usher in a new era of cultural efflorescence in the 21st century.

The main purpose of the meeting is to continue to give spiritual boost to the party members and other people, foil the imperialist reactionaries' desperate suffocation moves and accelerate the final victory on all fronts for building a thriving nation.

It is the party's intention to make sure that steady continuity is given to the WPK's history of "Believing in the people as in Heaven" by making Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il's outlook on the people run through the whole party.

The editorial calls upon all the participants in the meeting, secretaries of the party cells across the country, party members and other people to bring about fundamental innovations in their work and lead the march of another century of Juche in the van, true to the noble intention of Kim Jong Un.
