The statement said:

The recently fabricated "resolution" was an illegal, brigandish and provocative document as it is peppered with heinous hostile measures taken by the U.S. imperialist forces and their allies to tighten "sanctions" against the DPRK under the pretext of its satellite launch for peaceful purposes.

It is preposterous for them to insist that the DPRK's satellite launch for peaceful purposes was problematic because it used "ballistic missile technology". This brigandish sophism reminds one of a thief crying "Stop the thief!"

The prevailing situation goes to clearly prove once again that it is necessary to counter the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK with strength and that the road of independence and Songun chosen by it is entirely just.

The UNSC should make an honest apology for seriously infringing upon the sovereignty of an independent state, pursuant to the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK, in violation of the universally accepted international law, and retract at once all the unreasonably fabricated "resolutions".

Songun Korea will continue legitimately exercising the independent and legal right to satellite launch for peaceful purposes in accordance with international law on the use of space for peaceful purposes.

It will take physical retaliatory measures any moment to bolster up both in quality and quantity military capability for self-defense including nuclear deterrent to cope with the evermore undisguised U.S. "sanctions" against it.
