Upon hearing the news, all the people of the country, including the servicepersons, have hailed his decision, hardening their will to turn out as one in the all-out action against the United States.

Kim Kum Chol, an officer of the Korean People's Army (KPA), told KCNA:

"The news has lashed us, servicepersons, into a great excitement.

We are sure of victory in the showdown with the U.S. as we are led by Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un.

The KPA, the powerful Paektusan revolutionary army, fully supports Marshal Kim Jong Un's resolve."

Kwon Yong Chol, another KPA officer, said:

"The KPA, under the command of Marshal Kim Jong Un, has nothing to be afraid of.

We are fully ready for a war against the U.S. Once Kim Jong Un gives an order, the KPA will root out the den of evils, the United States."

Rim Chol Guk, a researcher of Hamhung University of Agriculture, said:

"Since respected Marshal Kim Jong Un made a decision, the DPRK will surely win victory in the showdown with the U.S.

I am confident of the victory as the DPRK is fully prepared to cope with anything.

So long as there remain the imperialists on the earth, it will be impossible to ensure the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and the world peace.

Now that the U.N. 'resolution' on tightening sanctions against the DPRK began taking effective, the DPRK has no other choice but to fight against the imperialists."

Pak Ryong Su, a student of Kim Chaek University of Technology, said:

"I can never understand why the U.S. labeled the DPRK's satellite launch as a provocation. From long ago, a lot of nations in the world have launched satellites.

I can hardly repress my surging indignation at the shameless acts of the U.S. and its followers taking issue with the DPRK's satellite launch only.

Once Marshal Kim Jong Un gives an order, I, a discharged soldier, will rejoin the army to annihilate them who trampled upon our dignity and sovereignty.
