The organizations released a joint statement on January 23.

The joint statement expressed resentment at the UNSC, which adopted the reactionary, unfair and criminal "resolution" infringing on the sovereignty of the DPRK.

The "resolution" is the height of hypocrisy and double standards, the statement said, and went on:

The countries which launched most of the world's satellites have taken an issue with the DPRK's satellite launch. It is a brigandish logic that "you should not do as I do but do as I say".

The U.S. imperialists and their followers are considering space development as a privilege granted to some countries only, regarding that other countries should be prevented from becoming a new space developer and be punished if they do so.

The member countries of the U.N. Security Council are puppets, henchmen and apple polishers of the U.S imperialists.

The statement fully supported the right of the DPRK to develop space for building an economic giant.

It called upon the Korean friends, followers of the Juche idea and the Songun idea and all other people in the world desirous of independence and justice to get firmly united to defend the DPRK and have the unreasonable UNSC's "resolution" cancelled.
