Day of Shining Star to Be Commemorated in Slovenia

| Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- A Slovenian preparatory committee for commemorating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Maribor City on Jan. 22. Igor Jurisic, chairman of the Slovenia-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize various politico-cultural events for introducing the immortal revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il in Ljubljana and other places of Slovenia during the period from Jan. 25 to Feb. 18. |
