S. Korean Prosecution Detains Reunification Champion

| Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Seoul District Prosecutor's Office detained and indicted Jo Yong Sam, according to the south Korean CBS on Jan. 27. Jo visited the DPRK in 1995 to take part in the grand festival for national reunification marking the 50th anniversary of Korea's liberation. The prosecution authorities arrested Jo on charges of the violation of the ill-famed "Security Law" as soon as he returned home from abroad. The fascist authorities indicted him for the mere reason that he visited the north without an approval of the "government" to participate in the 6th Pan-National Rally, and called for reunification by federal formula and repeal of the "Security Law". |
