Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Czech Republic

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the Czech Republic for commemorating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Prague on January 24. Miroslav Stepan, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events including seminar, photo exhibition and film show on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
