The statement said that the association severely condemns the member countries of the UNSC for their unjustified double standards policy of finding fault with the satellite launch by the DPRK even though they freely conduct nuclear tests and launch satellites.

It strongly protested the UNSC for straining the tension in the Korean Peninsula and escalating confrontation and conflict, quite contrary to peace and stability by fabricating the "resolution on sanctions" upon the DPRK.

It urged the UNSC to immediately cancel the "resolution" against the DPRK.
