U.S. Moves to Develop and Deploy New Type WMDs under Fire

Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- Recently the U.S. temporarily deployed 9 F-22 Raptors at Kadena base in Okinawa. Meanwhile, it tested super-bunker buster at the missile test field in New Mexico State of the U.S. Rodong Sinmun Thursday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard: This is a criminal act going against the trend of the times towards disarmament and peace and a dangerous action of escalating the global arms race. Whenever the U.S. staged war exercises every year against the DPRK in collusion with south Korea, it hurled huge nuclear offensive means including extra-large nuclear-powered carriers, Aegis ships and nuclear submarines into the Korean Peninsula and its vicinity, the commentary says, and goes on: The DPRK is one of the principal targets of bunker busters. The U.S. Defense Department had already openly announced that the development of bunker buster was made to meet the urgent requirements of the U.S. Pacific Command and the U.S. Central Command for carrying out operations against the DPRK and Iran. The U.S. seeks to mount surprise attacks on the military strategic targets of the DPRK with Stealth fighters carrying bunker busters in a bid to disable them in "contingency" on the Korean Peninsula. For this purpose the U.S. tested super-bunker busters and temporarily deployed Stealth fighters in Okinawa close to Korea. It is a foolish daydream for the U.S. to bring down the DPRK by force of arms. The DPRK will never slacken even a moment the work for bolstering up the nuclear deterrent for self-defence but reinforce it in every way to cope with the U.S. dangerous arms buildup. |
