When some countries fail to pursue independent policies, yielding to the pressure of the imperialists, only the DPRK is resolutely standing up against the moves of the imperialists to stifle it, the press release said, and went on:

The DPRK in its statements of the National Defence Commission and the Foreign Ministry resolutely denounced and rejected the UNSC's "resolution" which pulled up it over its satellite launch in December last year, terming it the launch that used the ballistic missile technology.

And it declared before the world that it would take all measures to defend the sovereignty of the country.

It has legitimately exercised its sovereignty in the international arena as it has never harbored any illusion about imperialism. It is dealing blows at imperialists-dominated UN and other international organizations.

Today the world people again witness the dignity and determination of the DPRK.
