The Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK said:

It is a common knowledge that though many countries launch satellites by rockets, this has never been problematic at the UNSC.

But the double standards were applied to the satellite launch of the DPRK, seriously violating the universally accepted international law on the right to the use of space for peaceful purposes and wantonly infringing upon the sovereignty of the DPRK.

We denounce the UNSC's "resolution".

The UNSC should retract the "resolution" without delay and officially apologize to the DPRK for it.

The Federal Leadership of the Left Bloc of the Austrian Trade Union Federation stressed that it fully supports all the measures of the DPRK for defending its sovereignty.
