Day of Shining Star to Be Marked by Syrian Political Party

| Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the Socialist Unionist Party of Syria was formed on Jan. 28 to celebrate the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star). Adnan Ismail, deputy general secretary of the Party, was elected chairman of the committee. The committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il and the leadership traits of the dear respected Kim Jong Un in diverse forms and ways as part of the commemoration of the Day of the Shining Star. |
