Slaboy January Guzowski, chairman of the Central Committee of the Poland-Korea Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

It decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il in such events as a seminar, remembrance meeting, lecture and film show on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star.
