Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Italy

| Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- An Italian preparatory committee to mark the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Rome on Jan. 28. Alfonso Galdi, director of the International Department of the Leftwing People's Party of Communists of Italy, and Constanzi Franco, secretary general of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee. It decided to hold colorful political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
