He said:

The UNSC cooked up a provocative and unreasonable "resolution" at the instigation of the U.S. in wanton violation of the sovereignty of the DPRK. This is an expression of unilateral and double-standard policy of the UNSC.

The fabrication of the unreasonable UN "resolution" is a provocation intended to wreck the peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and the region and an aggressive move to obstruct the dialogue for denuclearization at any cost.

I fully support the statements of the DPRK National Defence Commission and its Foreign Ministry.

I, at the same time, strongly denounce the provocative and unreasonable "resolution" adopted at the UNSC which was turned into a tool of the U.S. in its persistent pursuance of a hostile policy of aggression against socialist Korea.

All the progressive and peace-loving forces of the world are called upon to intensify solidarity activities to make voices demanding the U.S. defuse the daily escalating tension on the Korean Peninsula as early possible and conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK ring louder on the earth.
