"The Voice of the Mother", Song in Praise of WPK
Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- "The Voice of the Mother", a song created in Juche 81 (1992), is nowadays popular among the people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The song speaks highly of the Workers' Party of Korea in comparison with maternalism.

"It is one of the famous songs the Korean people like to sing out of feelings of profound gratitude and deep trust in the WPK," said Pak Yong Hwa, manager of the Rakwon Taesong Shop under the Taesong Guidance Bureau.

She continued:

"It is feelings and practices of mother to devote everything to her children and even risk her life for them.

Mother's care for her children is wholehearted and lovely. Therefore, even the grown-ups think of their mothers before anybody else in joyful or sorrowful time.

The WPK looks after all the people in the country with the same feelings of love and affection as mother has for her children. Such love reaches to everyone, disregarding his or her career or past wrongdoing."

Pak Kyong Hui, a woman living in Kyonghung-dong, Pothonggang District, Pyongyang, said:

"A mother's love is generally for her own children, but the WPK's care reaches to all the people throughout the country. This loving care is a source of strength and courage for the people.

As the song says, the WPK's leadership, fraught with love and trust, encourages the people to work great feats in production and construction."
