Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Hungary

| Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- A Hungarian preparatory committee to mark the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Budapest on January 28. Gyula Thurmer, chairman of the Hungarian Communist Workers' Party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il in the period between February 1 and 18. |
