S. Korean Public Official's Scandal Exposed

| Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- It was disclosed that the policy advisor to the "minister of Unification" of south Korea appropriated a fabulous amount of money, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Thongil News on Jan. 30. Last year he received 15 million won for helping a murderer get punishment as light as possible and pocketed 3 million won for enabling him to have a special reunion with his family. Scandals have become so rampant among public officials in south Korea that they are beyond control, sparking off public uproar. |
