Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Sweden

| Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee to mark the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Stockholm, Sweden on Jan. 30. Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set the celebration period from Feb. 11 to 16 and decided to hold diverse political and cultural events including lecture, photo exhibition and film show during the period. |
