Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said this at the inaugural ceremony of the Guinean preparatory committee to mark the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) on January 30.

He went on:

We will mark the birth anniversary of HE Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people and world progressive people, before long.

Kim Jong Il steadily developed in depth the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and firmly defended socialism upholding the banner of Songun.

Although Kim Jong Il, who made an immortal contribution to the human cause of independence, passed away, his cause is being successfully carried forward by HE Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people.
