This fact proves that the south Korean warmongers have long tried hard to provoke a war against the DPRK by mounting a surprise preemptive attack, says Minju Joson Tuesday in a bylined commentary.

The puppet warmongers' moves for a preemptive attack on the DPRK have been pushed forward in an extremely dangerous stage.

They already mapped out scenarios for a war against the DPRK with a main emphasis on the preemptive attack and, according to it, the latest war equipment are being massively shipped from the U.S. The south Korean independent development of latest weapons is also being pushed forward on a full scale.

Last year, the puppet group secured the massive extension of the missile range to 800 km from the U.S., further increased warhead weight and got an approval to develop and possess new unmanned striking planes.

Meanwhile, the group has held a series of war drills under various codenames for a preemptive attack on the DPRK.

The present situation goes to clearly prove that the army and the people of the DPRK were quite right when they bolstered war deterrence for self-defense in every way under the banner of Songun.

The DPRK would keep expanding and bolstering the military capabilities for self-defense including the nuclear deterrence both qualitatively and quantitatively to cope with the evermore undisguised war moves of the U.S. and puppet warmongers, no matter what others say.

If the U.S. and the puppet warmongers dare attempt to make a preemptive attack on the DPRK, its army and the people will deal a merciless strike to provocateurs and achieve the country's reunification without fail.

The warmongers should stop acting rashly.
