The court supported a musical instrument factory which was moving to fire workers under the pretext of the management difficulty, and finally laid them off on February 1.

Unionists under the Metal Workers Union and members of public and civic organizations held a meeting in front of the gate to the factory and condemned the layoff measure taken by the enterpriser side and the court on February 2.

The workers occupied the factory premise and launched a sit-in strike there, calling for retracting the unfair measure.
