S. Korea-U.S. Joint Naval Exercises under Fire

Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Progress, the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification and other progressive organizations of south Korea demanded the puppet authorities immediately stop the south Korea-U.S. joint military exercises. They held a press conference in Seoul on Tuesday.

The organizations denounced the U.S. and the south Korean authorities for starting the joint naval exercises in the East Sea of Korea from Monday with the involvement of the U.S. nuclear submarine San Francisco and Aegis cruiser and the south Korean puppet navy's destroyer and warships of various other types.

Branding the exercises as a dangerous act of bringing a war, the organizations urged the warmongers to stop at once the reckless exercises that can touch off a military conflict.
