British Organization Supports DPRK's Stance

Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy posted an article titled "Korea does what it is determined to do" on its website on January 29. The article said: The DPRK's successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 on December 12 last year created a great stir worldwide. When looking back on what happened in the past, the U.S.-led imperialists used to bring each satellite launch of the DPRK up for discussion at the UNSC as if something serious had occurred, kicking up "sanctions" racket. The same thing happened when satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 was launched. The U.S., Japan, south Korea and others termed the DPRK's satellite launch a violation of the UNSC's "resolution", "long-range missile launch for military purposes" and "provocation," straining the situation again. But the DPRK launched the satellite as it determined, remaining undeterred. Its latest satellite launch demonstrated before the international community that Korea does what it is determined to do. Such mettle of the DPRK was not displayed during its latest satellite launch only. The DPRK had access to nuclear deterrent for self-defence to cope with the nuclear threat of the U.S., and the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK dealt retaliatory blows at the south Korean puppet forces who fired shells into its inviolable territorial waters. Meanwhile, the website in an article titled "The U.S. should not forget the lesson taught by the 'Pueblo' armed spy ship incident" recalled that the U.S. imperialists apologized to the army and people of the DPRK, yielding to their demands after committing such provocation as illegally intruding into the territorial waters of the DPRK. The article stressed that the DPRK recognized by the world as a military power and nuclear weapons state has military capabilities strong enough to deal prompt and merciless blows at any invaders no matter where they are if they intrude into its territory, territorial waters and air even an inch. |
