The Korean people could defend socialism and hasten the building of an economic giant despite the moves of the U.S., chieftain of world imperialism, and its lackeys Japan and the south Korean puppet regime, to stifle the DPRK thanks to the clear way indicated by Kim Jong Il, he noted, and continued:

Our party and progressives in Nepal will always extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just struggle and stand up against the moves of the imperialists to stifle the DPRK.

Speakers including the organizational secretary of the German Branch of the Korean Friendship Association praised Kim Jong Il for frustrating all moves of the imperialists, honorably defending the country and the revolution and providing a firm guarantee for building a thriving nation with his energetic Songun revolutionary leadership.

Otete Gaston Mboyo, deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Democratic Congo and vice-chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Democratic Congo, stressed that thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il the DPRK could demonstrate its might as a country of single-minded unity which achieved a harmonious whole between the leader and people, an invincible power having nuclear deterrent.
