Rodong Sinmun brands the drills as a curtain raiser to the scenario to unleash a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula under the pretext of the DPRK's retaliatory measure for self-defence.

The on-going saber-rattling is fraught with increasing danger of war as the U.S. and south Korean warmongers are undisguisedly crying out for not ruling out military "sanctions" against the north, a nuclear-powered carrier belonging to the U.S. Seventh Fleet entered a south Korean port and it was announced that B-2 carrying nuclear bombs would be deployed on Guam.

Such hysteric military racket is driving the situation on the peninsula into the worst phase.

The above-said facts clearly indicate that the U.S. and the south Korean puppet group cooked up a "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK, groundlessly finding fault with its satellite launch, in order to attain their main purpose of provoking a war against it.

Their reckless military challenge only hardens the DPRK's will to wage a final battle for defending its sovereignty.
