These ill-boding U.S. military moves for "precision strike" at the strategic targets of the DPRK go to clearly prove that its hostile policy entered the dangerous phase.

The situation on the Korean Peninsula is inching close to the brink of war due to the U.S. imperialists' persistent anti-DPRK acts and scenario for preemptive attack on it.

The army and people of the DPRK can never remain a passive onlooker to the situation in which the sovereignty of the nation is violated and the security of the country faces a grave threat.

Now that the U.S. hostile moves have gone beyond the limit and its nuclear threat is increasing, the people are calling for actions for defending the sovereignty of the country stronger than a nuclear test.

It is quite natural and just that the DPRK's all measures for bolstering up deterrence are targeted against the U.S., the sworn enemy of the Korean people.
