A consul of the consulate general in Osaka on January 23 threatened a Korean in Japan to "stop the activity for aiding Korean schools in Japan."

He even let loose the rhetoric that "to aid Korean schools is to aid the organization of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan" and "as it is violation of the security law, you may be investigated when you go to south Korea."

Now in Japan even many Japanese join Koreans in holding meetings and mass movement for defending the education and other rights of Koreans in protest against the Japanese government's discrimination policy regarding the system for aiding Korean schools.

Reporting about such facts, the paper denounced the puppet group for its unjust step of preventing a solution to the issue for aiding Korean schools and subjecting it to suppression.
