The shop, located in Changjon Street of Pyongyang, began its operation on September 1, Juche 52 (1963).

Pyon Myong Hui, manager of the shop, told KCNA:

"The shop sells more than 50 kinds of building parts produced by the Sunchon Cement Complex, Taean Friendship Glass Factory, Nampho Glassware Factory and other industrial establishments in the field of building-materials production.

Those building parts are popular among customers as all of them are of high quality and very useful. Customers are satisfied with diverse and quality home-made products.

The commodities on sale at the shop include building parts, general merchandise, furniture, glassware and various shapes of natural stone-made products, which are helpful to improving the life environment in dwelling houses and public places."

The shop properly carries on ordered service for the convenience of customers.
