At the press conference speakers accused the Japanese government of having excluded the Korean schools from the tuition-waiver program for senior high schools since it took office, asserting that "it is hard to get understanding from the people."

This is an undisguised national discrimination and an intolerable illegal action, they held, adding:

We will carry on their actions in protest against the Japanese authorities' attitude of trampling down the due rights of the Korean students in Japan.

We will file a lawsuit in the Tokyo District Court in demand of compensation from the Japanese government.
