His affection for the country was the most sincere and ardent, the article said, explaining how strong his patriotism was.

Nigerian Observer carried an article titled "Feats for socialist cause" that lauded the feats he performed in reliably defending the socialist cause under the banner of Songun.

The DPRK resolutely meeting every challenge and smashing threats of the imperialists and maintaining the socialist cause are instilling great confidence and courage into the world progressive people, the article noted.

His undying exploits for the socialist cause would be remembered in the hearts of progressive humanity forever, it stressed.
