Seen before the statues was a floral basket sent by Marshal Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Laid before the statues were floral baskets in the name of party, armed forces and power bodies, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, organs, enterprises, factories, farms and schools in the city, and bouquets and flowers.

Also laid there were floral baskets in the name of overseas Koreans, and bouquets.

Masses paid respects to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in humble reverence.

Placed before the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and their smiling portraits in different parts of the city including Kim Il Sung Military University, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces and the Mansudae Art Studio and in provincial seats were floral baskets in the name of units of the KPA and organs, and bouquets and flowers.

Service personnel, people from all walks of life and school youth and children visited the statues and portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.
