U.S. Moves to Hold Military Hegemony under Fire
|

Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- The United States recently staged a third-phase test of interceptor missile at an air force base in California and opened to public related data with video footages. Minju Joson Monday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard: This indicates that the U.S. is keen to use the test as a means for posing a military threat to the DPRK and maximize its effect. The U.S. is working hard to realize its strategy for world domination by force under the pretext of the DPRK's non-existent "missile threat, " the commentary notes, adding: The keynote of the U.S. strategy is to maintain an edge in the field of strategic offensive weapons and secure a posture for preemptive attack based on it. The essence of the missile test was to disable the deterrence of other countries in the field of the strategic offensive weapons and secure a capability for mounting a preemptive attack any time in a bid to put the world under its control as it pleases. The U.S. scenario for preemptive strike at other countries has assumed more dangerous nature and found its way to various fields recently. This is clearly evidenced by the fact that the U.S. is set to develop the cyber command into a cyber force with offensive capability. This indicates that the U.S. leaves no stone unturned to hold military hegemony. It is trying hard to browbeat the DPRK by dint of force and high-handed practices, but this is nothing but a reckless act of those who go arrogant and overconfident. If the U.S. dares mount a pre-emptive strike at the DPRK despite the latter's repeated warnings, it will not be able to escape merciless retaliatory blows. |
