Displayed at the venue of the seminar were pictures on his revolutionary activities.

The participants laid a floral basket before his portrait that was hung on the front wall of the venue.

N. Sarantuya, member of the Leadership Council of the Mongolian Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development, in a speech said that Kim Jong Il made a great contribution to the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.

Sarantuya went on:

"On Preserving the Juche Character and National Character of the Revolution and Construction" is the work of distinguished theoretical and practical significance among many works Kim Jong Il authored in the course of developing the Juche idea.

This work reflects valuable experience, lessons and concrete methods to be followed by Mongolians in their work and life.

Increasing daily is the interest in the works of Kim Jong Il amid the complicated world political situation.

Ch. Bayarbat, executive chairman of the Mongolian Center for the Study of Juche, noted that Kim Jong Il dedicated his whole life to the country, the revolution and the people, adding:

The national power of the DPRK has been consolidated in every way thanks to his revolutionary activities, especially from 1994 to the last moments of his great life.

The DPRK became a nuclear weapons state and a satellite launching state and laid a solid foundation for building an economic giant and opened a decisive phase for national reunification thanks to his Songun politics.

His Songun leadership serves as a brilliant example in weathering difficult situation and converting adversity into favorable conditions.

L. Khaisandai, chairman of the Mongolian Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development, expressed full support and solidarity with the DPRK in its principled stand against the U.S. and its allies which cooked up the "resolution" of the UN Security Council.

A congratulatory message to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
