Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This is a brutal action which could be taken only by the worst traitors forsaken by the country and nation and fascist hangmen busy with anti-reunification acts and confrontation with fellow countrymen and human rights abuses. It is another blatant challenge to the DPRK.

The Lee group took harsh legal actions against Ro Su Hui and other members of the reunification movement organizations who conducted praiseworthy activities for national reconciliation, unity and reunification. They are aimed at creating a terror-ridden atmosphere of suppression in south Korea to chill the desire for achieving reunification through alliance with the north daily mounting among people from all walks of life, inciting confrontation with fellow countrymen and realizing its ambition for invading the north at any cost.

Driven into a bottomless abyss of ruin for committing unpardonable anti-reunification crimes against the nation, the Lee group desperately seeks a way out of it in stepping up the war moves against the DPRK and intensifying the suppression of progressive forces.

The Lee group is the worst tyrant and enemy of the nation as it indiscriminately cracks down upon the patriots, who devoted themselves to national concord and reunification, on the charge of violation of the fascist SL which should have been thrown into the dustbin of history.

All Koreans will never pardon such traitors as Lee Myung Bak but mete out the severest punishment to them.
