A delegation of the International Martial Arts Games Commission led by its secretary general toured Indonesia and other nations a year before to discuss issues related to organizing the games.

The Australia Organizing Committee has stepped up preparations for sponsoring the games.

A website for the games was opened and martial arts competitions took place in the Philippines, Greece and other countries as part of preparations for the 5th International Martial Arts Games.

Meanwhile, the Executive Committee of the International Martial Art Games Commission met in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, some time ago to discuss a series of issues for successfully holding the games, amendments and supplements of the games regulations and enrollment of new members in the commission.

The 5th Games is to be held in Australia in May this year.
