Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- People in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are now seized with joy over its successful third nuclear test. They call the test an "auspicious event", "satisfied news" and "sweeping victory". In this regard, KCNA had interviews with citizens at a bus stop in Central District, Pyongyang. Ri Myong Song, a 33-year-old man living in Munsu-dong No.3, Taedonggang District, said: "I am very excited to hear the news about the nuclear test. Our country fully demonstrated its might by successfully conducting the test on a higher level than the previous ones. The test represents the DPRK's sweeping victory over the U.S., which wantonly encroached upon its legitimate right to satellite launch for peaceful purposes." O Jong Suk, a 54-year-old woman residing in Munsin-dong No.1, Tongdaewon District, said: "The test served as a sledgehammer to the U.S.-led hostile forces who cooked up UN Security Council 'resolution on sanctions' against the DPRK over its satellite launch for peaceful purpose. There is a limit to our patience. I fully support the government's stand that it would be left with no option but to take the second and third stronger steps in succession if the U.S. takes a hostile approach toward the DPRK to the last." |
