Korean Films Screened in Peru, Guinea, Romania

Pyongyang, February 14 (KCNA) -- Film shows took place in Peru, Guinea and Romania on Feb. 5 and 6 to mark the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star). Films shown included Korean film "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation". Victor Oliva Miguel, general secretary of the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru, said Kim Jong Il wisely led the revolutionary cause of Juche and the cause of global independence with his Songun politics and made great achievements. Lately the U.S. and forces kowtowing to it are doing all sorts of vicious acts, touting "sanctions" against the DPRK over its satellite launch. Victor Oliva Miguel, said, and went on: However, the Korean people continue to make strenuous efforts to defend the country's sovereignty and socialism without any slightest vacillation under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un. Eleazar Ramos Roarte, chairperson of the Peruvian Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, Guillermo Alcazar Ribera, chairperson of the Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, Roberto Carbonel Pezo, chairman of the Peru-Korea Friendship Institute for Study of the Juche Based Songun Policy, and Yuri Castro Romero, secretary general of the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Cultural and Friendship, lauded the Songun revolutionary leadership feats of Kim Jong Il, saying his life, indeed, represented a history of Songun. Camano Vitor, chairman of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Conakry of Guinea, said Kim Jong Il performed undying exploits for the country and people, the era and history by wisely leading the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people for a long time. Solid foundations for building a thriving socialist nation were laid in the DPRK thanks to him, the chairman added. |
