The DPRK conducted the third underground nuclear test to cope with the U.S. hostile moves against it, ITAR-TASS said, adding:

The Korean Central News Agency noted in its report that the nuclear test was conducted in a safe and perfect way on a high level with the use of a smaller and light A-bomb unlike the previous ones, yet with great explosive power and it was confirmed that the test didn't give any adverse effect to the surrounding ecological environment.

The nuclear test will serve as an important occasion for guaranteeing peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and the region.
